A new update is out!

• Added Spanish localization.
• Replaced the existing soundtrack with new lofi music by the lovely Purrple Cat (more tracks coming soon!).
• The UI now warns you of obvious mistakes in both Plus and Squared (ex. filling 6 squares around a 5).
• Puzzles with a custom background color now display said color.
• The "Find incomplete" button actually works again.
• Fixed a few annoying issues in the editor.
• Prepared the client to support multiple color palettes (new palettes coming soon!).

We just released a new update!

• All puzzle types now have an undo and redo feature! (the shortcuts are Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y)
• New option in Plus to automatically cross empty squares when you "complete" a line. Please keep in mind this will trigger whenever you fill the correct amount of squares, it does not guarantee those squares are in the correct place.
• New shortcut (F) to find unsolved numbers in Squared and Links (particularly useful for extra large puzzles).
• As usual, we also made a few tiny tweaks and bug fixes.

A new update is out!

• Finishing a puzzle while filters are active no longer sends you to the first page of the results.
• Solved puzzles should no longer disappear sometimes from the puzzle list until you restart the game.
• Plus: drawing a line very quickly no longer skips any squares.
• Squared: lowered opacity of non-selected color to improve readability.
• Board interaction helpers are now hidden while in pan mode.
• Fixed several minor bugs (and one not so minor in the Editor).

We just released a new update!

• Improved game initialization process - it should now retry reaching the server many more times before giving up.
• Fullscreen is now enabled by default.
• Music is now enabled by default (sound sfx coming soon).
• Fixed Links puzzles not restarting properly.
• Made rate bonus more obvious - you receive Coins even if there are no images to review.
• Fixed stuck input issue (hopefully).
• Fixed filters not showing any XL puzzles.
• Timers can now be hidden (in Settings > Global).
• Scrollwheel can now be used to cycle through colors (toggle in Settings > Controls).
• WASD directions can now be inverted (in Settings > Controls).
• Custom colors on a puzzle are now saved between sessions.
• Added more music tracks.
• Fixed a few minor bugs.

We updated the update!

We found some issues in the release we made a couple of days ago that although minor, can only be fixed by releasing a new version number and forcing older versions to update.

We're really sorry for this, particularly if you had just downloaded the previous release.

Puzzle filters should now always apply properly.

We just released a new update!

• Puzzle filters are back! In the Archives and Author sections you can now set both size and color filters.
• In preparation for the upcoming Steam release we had to make some structural changes touching many areas of the game. Everything should work exactly as before, but please be on the lookout for new bugs.

A new update is out!

We completely overhauled the input system. It should now work more consistently across platforms and better support touchscreens and stylus tablets.

Picma Links also received some major (albeit fairly experimental) updates. It should now have much smoother gameplay.

A new update is out!

• Account Management - Need to update your email? Link a Google account? You can now do all of that and more on the Profile page (we know, it's not a very exciting feature but it needed to be done).
• The old music track is back! To enable it turn up the sound in the Settings page (it defaults to off).
• Re-enabled (and improved) cropping the UI on smaller viewports - it should now work on very small windows/screens.
• Made a few bug fixes and minor improvements.

A new update is (finally) out!

We have revamped almost every menu screen in the game (the rest will soon follow).

Along with this UI overhaul we also made literally dozens of small improvements to the gameplay.

While Picma now looks much closer to our vision for it, there's no shortage of new features and improvements planned for future updates!

A new update is out!

There's now a little Heart next to the name of any puzzle. Click it and the Author will be added to your Favourites. Then, simply head to the new "Authors section" and the puzzles of all your Favourites will be easy to find and play!

In the Authors section you can now also find the Top 25 Authors (by puzzle count) and your own puzzles if your are an Author yourself!

Beyond all the Author-related features we also did a few other things:

• Fixed Squared hints visual artefacts.
• Puzzles will now start auto-scaled to your screen size.
• Puzzle select improvements and bug fixes.
• Editor performance significantly improved.

A new update is out!

Usually updates are optional, but this time we had to make changes to the servers, making older versions of Picma incompatible.

On the bright side, updating is always easy - simply delete the current game and download the new one.

There are now almost 8000 new large Links puzzles available - these took literally months to generate but they're finally online!

New puzzles (for Plus, Squared and Links) will now be generated daily!

We also fixed a few bugs and made several minor improvements to the gameplay.

The moderation feature is back, you can now (again) vote on new images and help decide which ones become puzzles! As before, you will also earn Coins in the process.

Please note that there's a HUGE puzzle generation backlog, but once it clears, turning community-approved images into puzzles should be much faster than before.

This is a small bug-squashing patch that fixes a few issues from our previous update.

We also added a new "legacy" version of Picma that should run on older Macs.

The third update is finally out!

Here are the major highlights:

• Puzzle creation is back! Puzzle moderation will follow very soon.
• New Plus filters now ensure that all puzzles are at least somewhat challenging to solve.
• Improved the Squared puzzle generator, resulting in about 30% more puzzles.
• Completely re-wrote the Links puzzle generator - it now makes much more interesting puzzles.
• Bug fixes!

This was a massive update that required changes to pretty much every part of the game, so please be on the lookout for new bugs!

• keyboard shortcuts for colors (keys 1-8)

It's not pretty, it's far from complete, but the new Picma is finally out!

• All game modes are available: Plus, Squared and Links.
• All puzzles (more than 100k in total) are available through the Archives.
• Save and resume progress.
• Colorblind mode and other game-specific settings.
• Updates to the game will start being released every 2-4 weeks.

• Absolutely no other features will be available for now.
• It won't be as pretty or polished as the current version.
• Bugs, bugs everywhere. Please let us know when you find one!

As the game is still lacking most features we added a 3-Month Subscription to everyone's account. This should allow you to play without any worries while we work hard adding features and fixing bugs!
